You need to place the paths to be change in a change-file & reference that
change-file with the -R flag.
So, create:
/tmp/changeme with one line in it:
change /precutres/bkp to /posteodres/bkp23
(Make sure there's no stray spaces and/or lines in it)
Then
bprestore -R /tmp/changeme -p test /precutres/bkp
That should do it.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] bprestore help
Hi,
Can any one help me out in doing bprestore from Solaris command line. I am
trying to do restores to an alternate path. I have used the below commads
where /precutres/bkp is my source file path and /posteodres/bkp23 is the
alternate restore path. The below commands resulted in successfully /
partially restore messages but no files were actually restored.
bprestore -R /posteodres/bkp23 -p test /precutres/bkp
bprestore -R /precutres/bkp /precutres/vcs5 -p test 03/25/2003 -e 03/25/2003
bprestore -R /precutres/bkp to /precutres/vcs5 -s 03/25/2003 -p test
bprestore -R /precutres/bkp /precutres/vcs5 -p test
bprestore -R /precutres/bkp /precutres/vcs5 -p test /precutres
bprestore -R /posteodres -p test /precutres/bkp
bprestore -R /posteodres/bkp23 -p test /precutres/bkp
Thanks
-Texin
