I also imagine that the interactive mode would cause problems if you wanted
this information for scripting purposes...

How does that make the fact that netbackup keeps everything
in text files not
true? Try "cat /usr/openv/netbackup/db/jobs/*.t" and see
what you get.

No, this is not true. In the case of the bpdbjobs report,
you run the
command like I showed before...
bpdbjobs -report -all_columns -stay_alive
You'll get a dump of all the jobs in the last 24 hours, and
then dropped
to an interactive session where you can run the commands
"refresh",
"refresh-all", and exit...
