If you kill a job but it still is in the job monitor go to:
/usr/openv/netbackup/db/jobs
look for your job ID and delete it.
you could also look for the PID and do a kill -9 on it

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Unknown Job State
Hello,
I am currently running NetBackup Datacenter 3.4 on a Sun Netra. We've had
some issues here with NetBackup and now when I look at my activity monitor,
I have roughly 10 jobs with an unkown state. The jobs have a job ID, but
that's all. I can't kill these jobs. Does anyone know how to remove them
from my activity monitor.
Thanks.
~Monica
