[Veritas-bu] bpduplicate question

Michael,
You will need to do a bpexpdate -d newdate -ev media on all the tapes that
you used for
duplication. I am not sure about your setup but it can be automated in a
script very easily. The following statement gets me a list of all my
off-site tapes created on a particular day:
MEDIA_LIST=$(${NBADMBIN}/bpmedialist -p Offsite-sys | grep $(/usr/bin/date
+%x)| awk '{ print $1 }')
Hope this helps....

Subject: [Veritas-bu] bpduplicate question
HI All,
I currently duplicating my backups on a daily basis. Everything
is working fine but I need to have my duplicates expiration time set to
6 months, but the original is set to expire in three months. Can you
redefine
the default expiration time period for the duplicates only.
Thanks
-Mike
