Hi Eddie

NW 734 is not supported. If it is critcal data what you are going to backup, 
do forget about usupported versions of Nw. You need to install Nw 7.5.* or 
7.6.*

As  you have quite a number of inodes on that file system my suggestion is to 
look for block-level alternatives, like Snapimage, which can also create file 
index entries (usig some NDMP mechanism, I think). 

Backing up such an amount of files may take 2-3 days for full backups 
depending of the average size of the files. 

The NetWorker SnapImage Solaris Module 2.5 release was planned for Q2 2011. 
and the alpha release period was Feb-March. It is not available from PL yet 
but you may want to contact EMC for additional information and release dates.

I can't tell if it will support  SPARC, intel or both.
