Absolutely. VCB is effectively dead. There is no support and no
bug-fixing. There are two companies' products involved and the usual
fight to get either of them to accept responsibility when (not if) it
doesn't work. You are heavily reliant on VSS for it to work well, and I
have a very low opinion of VSS too.

Avoid VCB at this stage if you can. I speak from personal experience.
