I would agree.  We had asked our VAR to set us up with everything we
needed to perform NDMP backups.  I guess they forgot the NDMP part and
had to foot the bill for snapimage.  If they know you are not happy with
the service and might go somewhere else they usually will eat all if not
most of the screw-up.

If they screwed up then I would have them swallow the cost.  You will
still have to pay maintenance but your VAR screwed up then it should
cost them and not you.

The most frustrating part is that they left these items out of the
original quote. EMC worked togethere with CDW to write the quote, so you
think they'd get it right.
