[Networker] Check networker runtime
2008-01-22 11:49:37
Sorry if this thread is a bit vague to you specialists out there.
Networker is not my area of expertise. I am not getting anything useful out of
the internal team so i thought I would post here.
I basically want to run a command to "freeze" the filesystem being backed up
then "thaw" the file system after the backup has completed.
We are using networker 7.3.3 on solaris 10.
Is there an easy way to tell the runtimes programatically in a shell script?
Or even better - get networker to to issue the commands on my behalf?
thanks
mark
