I have a client who cannot do individual file/directory recovers from the 
client gui, but the indexes are good and can be used for ssid recoveries. Has 
anyone seen this happen? It's not clear if they've ever tried a non-gui 
recovery, so it could be strictly gui related.

I've heard there are instances where this will occur for VCB backups, but that 
isn't the case with this client, there's no VMWare hosts or guests being backed 
up at the moment. For the VCB issue, it's supposed to be addressed in an 
upcoming patch due sometime in December.
