Yes, I think you misunderstood. My NDMP drives are not connected toany filers; they sit in the same tape library that's connect to mybackup server. I am doing what I believe is referred to as a threeway backup. I do need NDMP licenses, but those are in in place andthey have been for quite some time. I actually have one more NDMPlicense than production NDMP servers even, which is so I can dooccasional testing on a non-production NDMP server. I do not recallever having to generate a password before, but I will look into that.
