Probably the easiest thing to do is to load the indexes for those dates
(the index isn't necessarily on those tapes). Do a "nsrck -L 7 -t
time_value client_name". Look up index recovery in the admin guide or
man nsrck in unix.

Once the index is back, you should be able to browse and restore
individual files/folders.

All, I have a windows environment that i am trying to recover a file
from 
several months ago. The user does not know the exact directory or
filename 
but assures me that it is in one of two directories. The tapes from May
are 
marked as retrievable and i have tried to recover all of the data from 
those two directories to a restore folder but Networker user always
bombs 
out. I`ve tried running scanner on the tape but I don`t think I have the

right commands or understand them completely. Any help would be 
appreciated. Thank you in advance.
