Re: [Networker] LCNA Certification....

I got my NetWorker Administrator about 3 months ago. If you know NetWorker
it should be fine. However, I'd saya windows administrator would find it
harder than a UNIX adminstrator. Reason? There are quite a few questions
that not only ask what the command is, but what the switches are to do
something. I both support and provide consulting on NetWorker and have been
using it since V2.1.... I couldn't answer all the questions because I
usually remember the command, and then use the man pages to find the exact
switches (Lazy, but I don't have the RAM to store all that stuff). So, check
up on switches for nsrck, mminfo, and nsrinfo.
The Specialist exam requires knowledge on VSS, NDMP, Clustering and more
command line stuff.
Good luck
Siobhan

Subject: [Networker] LCNA Certification....
Date: Mon, 5 Jun 2006 11:10:33 +1000
Dear All,
I worked as a Networker Administrator and I am going to take LCNA
certification exam this month. I would like to know the following things
before taking the exam.
1. Is working knowledge of Networker Modules(SQL, Oracle etc..) required or
is Networker Administration knowledge enough to take the exam?
2. Where can I get model questions or dumps related to LCNA??
(Please note that I do not have access to EMC sites)
3. What is the exam pattern, passing score and fee??
4. I could not find any information regarding LCNA in EMC site. Is LCNA
discontinued?? If so which certification I am eligible to take as I have
worked only on Networker?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance,
Srinivas Rao S.
