[Networker] Considerations how to backup a DMZ with Networker

Hello dear fellow networkers,
I'm looking for an adequate way how to get a growing DMZ backuped with
Networker. At the moment I made the following considerations:

Searching the archives I found mails considering case 1. Has anybody of you
experiences in partitioning an iScalar 2000 of ADIC (case 2) with Networker?
What about advantages and disadvantages in licensing issues?
Freundliche Grüße / Kind regards
