Open a service call to ADIC if you don't have this latest drivers/firmware on
ADIC Scalar 100.

Library Firmware: 3:32.0002
RMU Firmware: 188A.00001
Tape Drives: 4AP0 (this is not available in their web site, it was attached to
an e-mail from Tech. Support)

regards,
Librado

We had similar issues with our Spectra T950 before. We saw I/O errors just
before the tapes got marked as full, in the OS and networker logs. Maybe
you should check that too? If networker gets a hard error, it will stop
writing to the tape and mark it as full.

In our case, the cause was due to bugs in the software that runs the
library. I'm not quite sure if it was drive firmware or library firmware
that solved the problem though. But my best advice would be to start
looking for problems in system logs around when the tape gets marked as
full prematurely. And get ADIC or your ADIC service partner to perform a
library and drive firmware upgrade, if such an upgrade is available.
