Hello ,
I have recently installd new Networker Server on Solaris 9 with L180 of 8
Drives .
Enviromment .

Server Solaris 9 , V440 2 CPU 4 GB
Brocade Switch .
L180 and Lto-2 drives
Lp9000 HBA card on Solaris
LP10000 card on Windows 2000 and windows 2003 cluster DSN's .

I am backing the two DSN on this networker Server , these two were backed up
before by Veritas backup exec and time was 3 hours and 5 respectiveyl for
80 GB and 260 GB data size .

Now it takes 7 hours .

I need help in making this backup faster . backup speed sometinmes goes as
slow as 300kb/s and sometimes it goes to 45 MB/s (!)

Following is just an idea for you to understand characteristics of client .
