If there has been no data written from this server prior to this message
then my best guess would be that it is taking longer than 30 minutes to
figure out what to backup, you can up the timeout for the client to say 2
hours and see if this fixes it.
I've also seen this with incrementals of large filesystems where it has
taken longer than the timeout interval to find the next file to backup.
