We are very pleased with alll our Scalar 1000 libraries. The largest have 3
extra expansion boxes. The oldest uses DLT7000 while the newest (and
largest) uses LTO1/LTO2.

You may want to consider a library with SDLT600 drives. They have 300GB
native capacity. 36MB/s uncompressed transfer rate.
