Hi Doug,

Yes, Networker is as simple as that, I have done Solaris, HP-UX. IBM AIX and
Windows before without any issue, so I believe that apply to IRIX as well.
After that just have to do a host transfer affidavit

Cheers..
Robert

Subject: [Networker] Switching Networker Server

The requirement is to move Networker server 4.25B from a system using IRIX
6.54, and the Storage-Tek 9714 80 Slot Library to a new server using IRIX
6.5.18. Is this a simple matter of transferring the Legato licenses,
loading Networker 4.25B on the new server, and copying the /nsr directory
with all the indexes, and databases over to the new server.
Anybody who has changed Networker server, or has knowledge about the
process, please get back to me.
Thanks.
 Doug
