create a symbolic link as follows:
ln -s /usr/lib/nsr /lib/nsr
or for those who prefer relative symlinks:
cd /lib ; ln -s ../usr/lib/nsr
this does not make any sense (AFAIK) since 6.x and 7.x do not have a
/lib/nsr, but something in 8.0 has changed (perhaps a libpath or
something in RPM?) which makes the client post installation script want
to install to and execute from /lib/nsr rather than /usr/lib/nsr
I have been running RH 8.0 as a server and client in our backup
development environment for the past 1.5 months, the above problem being
the only issue I have encountered

We had the same problem. We have installed ncurses4 and now we have the
problem:
Redhat 8.0
1 LGTOclnt NetWorker for Linux (Backup/Recover) Client
6.1.3.Build.428
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
+
./NWinstall
[...]
This appears to be an attempt to install the same architecture and
version of a package which is already installed.
Erase before continuing [yes]?
rmdir: too few arguments <<<<<<<<<<
Try `rmdir --help' for more information. <<<<<<<<<<
error: %postun(lgtoclnt-6.1.3-1) scriptlet failed, exit status 1 <<<<<<<<<<
Installing Networker for Linux (Backup/Recover) Client ...

Start NetWorker daemons at end of install [yes]?
/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.42285: line 1: /lib/nsr/poin.cln: No such file or directory
error: %post(lgtoclnt-6.1.3-1) scriptlet failed, exit status 127
Press Enter key to continue ...

of course rmdir is the right version of redhat:
++
rmdir --version
rmdir (fileutils) 4.1.9
++
we have try to force the installation, remove the rpm, etc... the error
messages appear always
I have look the archive, I haven't find the solution.
Thank for your help,
regards,
