We have this environment:
Windows NT 4.0 with Legato 6.2 with SAP, Oracle
Modules and DDS. Oracle Database Version: 8.0.6.
And these are the conclussions obtained from tests:
- when we make backup without DDS, that is, a LAN
backup, everything goes ok. The backup with NMO and
backint from SAP Module is ok.
- when the backup is with DDS, but not using NMO and
backint, that is, a filesystem backup, everything goes
ok.
- the problem is when we use DDS and backint, or DDS
and NMO; then the database logouts users, and there
are timeouts in applications trying to connect to
Oracle.
Any idea?
Thanks,
Juan Fau.
