Yes.  

Create a directory on a drive that is going to follow the instance of
SQL Server you want to backup.  Put your .opt file and .cmd files in
that directory, and optimally also have your logs written to that
directory.  Then changes are centralized and failovers can be tracked as
they affect TSM as well as the SQL Server.
