Hi,
Actually we run :
- 1 lib. Manager, which is also data manger (with nodes on it)
1 lib client/data manager
- 1 lib. Manager
4 lib client/data manger
Both configuration works with 3584
And evrything goes fine, thank you.
A detail, when you define device class, especially on lib client, be carefull
with mount wait and mount retention.
And be carefull with storage agent management too.
Thanks,
Pierre

configuration ??
I'd suggest that you do this. This is what we do here (we have 5 full servers
and one shared library server with no nodes defined on it). I think this might
even be a recommendation. I recall hearing this at a SHARE presentation years
ago, and it works very well for us.
It's not necessary to run the 2 full servers on separate hardware, unless you
need the server resources. We run our 6 instances on a total of 2 servers.
