Re: [ADSM-L] Changing GUID

It means the GUID changed but it is an informational message, not an error
message. Keep looking for the cause of the failure. Start with dsmerror.log
on the client.

A user tried to upgrade a MAC OSX machine to V5R4 and changed it back to
V5R3 two days later. Since then all attempts to backup the machine fail
with a message like:'
04/12/2007 14:09:47 ANR1639I Attributes changed for node WHALE: GUID from
05.78.07.c4.b6.ff.11.db.a5.d0.00.00.80.87.60.f9 to
60.1d.64.46.e6.be.11.db.ad.e9.00.00.80.87.60.f9.
(SESSION: 15660)
A web search tells me this is primarily a MS feature, so I'm confused as
where to start trying to get her machine backed up. Anyone have any clue
what this might mean?
