This was discussed a few weeks ago on the listserv. Sounded like
a bug to me.

I noticed a couple of times that storagepool backups take a very long
time to start. In the following case 22 Minutes.

20060112-12:08:00 ANR2017I Administrator XYZ issued command: BACKUP
STGPOOL small_tape tapecpy ~ 20060112-12:30:40 ANR0984I Process 142 for
BACKUP STORAGE POOL started in the BACKGROUND at 12:30:40.~

Is this a normal behaviour?

System: TSM 5.3.2.2 z/Linux
