3584 Library Tape labels

Subject: 3584 Library Tape labels

Are there any limitations to the labels that are used with this LTO2
library? In other words, is it ok to use say a letter T and the rest numbers
on the barcodes of LTO2 tapes or is there a special combination that needs
to be on them?
