Hi Axel!
In case of failures using TDP for Oracle, look for the file sbtio.log. This one 
always contains more usefull error messages.

I'm trying to set up tape backup for oracle db server via tdpo. installing
tdpo and setting up the passwordfile is successfull.

ORA-19511: Error received from media manager layer, error text:
   SBT error = 7011, errno = 2230, sbtopen: system error

has anyone experience in fixing that...? exists an overview for all the
different 'errno'?
