Check the free HP Tool:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?pnameOID=406731&locale=en_US&taskId=135&prodSeriesId=406729&prodTypeId=12169&swEnvOID=24

It's a tool for libraries, but if you push the Sys Perf button, you can
create several testfiles. (restore pre-test)

Maurice

Subject: [ADSM-L] Create Test Files to measure backup berformance

Dear TSM-gurus,

can anyone recommend a (free) tool to create files of configurable size
to test backup performance? It should run on Windows 2003.
I would like to create reproducible backup results so they can be
compared
with other backup products.

Thanks in advance
Thomas Rupp
