Re: LTO Blocksize

Strange... I'm getting 13-11Mb/s per drive and in document
wp-tsm-lto.pdf performance is very different.
I'm using Solaris 8 and I'm doing backups via shared memory. Most of
files in backup are largefiles.
Is this normal?

Hello Fernando,
On the Windows platform, the block size used by the TSM server version
5.1.8 for regular back up on LTO is 32K. It's 256K on the UNIX
platforms.
You can not change the block size used by the TSM server.

Hi!
I'm running TSM server 5.1.8 with STK L180 Seagate LTO drives.
I would like to check the blocksize being used and if needed change it.
Does anybody know?
