This should also show you the amount of active data on a node in MB:

select sum(capacity*pct_util/100) from filespaces where node_name='XXXXXXXX'

Hello, Bill - This question came up a few weeks ago, and the excellent
              suggestion was the expedient:

Active files, number and bytes Do 'EXPort Node NodeName
                                            FILESpace=FileSpaceName
                                            FILEData=BACKUPActive
                                            Preview=Yes'
                                        Message ANR0986I will report the
                                        number
                                        of files and bytes.
