If TSM is having a problem that you think might be OS-related, one way
to determine this is to carefully check the time stamps from the event
log/syslog/error log/whatever the OS uses, vs. the TSM server activity
log and client logs. If the error occurs first on the system, that's a
strong indication that TSM is merely reporting the results of a problem
that originates in the OS.
