Hello,

after making some (very disappointing)
experiences with the TSM Storage Agent
(SA) there is one question left (which
I can't answer myself because I can't
make the necessary changes, for
different reasons):

Does the Storage Agent (we are using
v4.2.11 right now) handle multiple
library definitions (with an External
Library Manager and Gresham Enterprise
DistribuTape) in the devconfig.txt file
correctly?

What I mean is:

If I am using two different TSM B/A
clients with their own TSM schedulers,
dsm.opt files but different management
classes (their copy groups pointing to
different storage pools on different
libraries) in the include/exclude lists
and I'm putting two library definition
statements in the devconfig.txt file of
the SA, will the data be transferred to
the right library (depending on the
client that is backing up the data)?
Both libraries are defined on the same
TSM server and both libraries have been
defined in the EDT configuration file.
E.g., if client BA1 points to a storage
pool on LIB1 and BA2 points to LIB2,
will the data from BA1 be transferred
to LIB1 and the data from BA2 to LIB2,
will all data from both clients be
transferred to LIB1 or will I receive
an error message?

I admit that my English isn't the best
but hopefully you will understand my
question...

I'll be thankful for every answer.

Regards,

Dirk
