The directory will show a completed backup.  On the info store I don't
remember the exact wording.  I think it showed as a failed backup.  One way
to make sure is go in to do a restore & it will show the full & all
incrimentals after.
If you do not see the full you can manually run full backup script.
I failed to mention this but I'm running Exchange 5.5.  I don't know what
the differences will be if you are running Exchange 2000.....
