Peter - From all I've seen, Export-Import works across architectures.
        I don't recall postings saying that MVS->Unix does not work:
the procedure accounts for differences such as EBCDIC-ACSII.
For chuckles, challenge your vendor to produce a document describing
"SCSI format": there is no such thing.  SCSI is a transport vehicle,
like TCP/IP.  It moves your data to another place, that's all.  The
format is a meta issue that you define, as via Export-Import.
