Tony,

There are two ways (that I know of) to restore/retrieve to a different
node. Let's call the node you backed up "SOURCE" and the node you want to
restore onto "TARGET"...

1. On node "TARGET", make a copy (not a shortcut) of the GUI icon. Open
the properties of the copy (right click, click on properties), then click
the "shortcut" tab. In the Target box, add: -node SOURCE at the
end of the line (be sure to leave a space after the closing ". You may
also want to rename the copy icon to something like "TSM SOURCE". When you
open this icon, you should see all of SOURCE's files, and you can
restore/retrieve them. You will have to specify the path to restore to...
if you don't TSM will use the UNC name and could possibly restore to
SOURCE! And, whatever you do, DO NOT DO A BACKUP OR ARCHIVE from this
icon!

2. (Second way) Start a GUI session on SOURCE, and click Utilities, then
User Access List... This is where you specify what other nodes can restore
SOURCE's files. It gets kind of involved, so check out the help and
manuals. You need to add node TARGET and whatever user will do the
restore. You can specify * for all users. Close this GUI, and start a GUI
on TARGET. Click on Utilies, then Access Another User. Here you will
"login" as the user you granted access to. Now you should be able to see
SOURCE's files.

Good Luck!
