Amen, Mark. It's dismaying to see, like, a one-sentence response to an issue
which includes the entire thread of a discussion along with it, running for
hundreds of lines. If you've visited www.adsm.org to like Browse Current Month,
you've seen how postings are nicely related by the email Subject and time.
There is no need to append everything that came before.
Eliminating needless bulk in email does a lot to help eliminate waste in
Internet traffic, Sendmail processing times, mail spool space, and human
travail. If nothing else, think of all the Listserv archive space that your
gracious list host, Marist, is giving over to all this data.
thanks, Richard Sims, BU
