I as well have been admining ADSM/TSM since V2 and
when the randomization parameter was introduced with
V3 I was able to get randomization to work w/schedmode
prompted while @ IBM.  This was specifically with V3.1
which we both know had many problems.  I never use
polling for the schedmode because resources haven't
been a problem in the environments that I've worked
in.  I work mostly with very large environments and
previously for IBM.
