Geoff,

   You will have to issue the 'UPD VOL U00067 ACC=READO' which will set the
access of the volume to read only and should allow the movedata to
complete.

I must be missing something here. The command specified "move data U00067"
returns the following error:

07/11/00 15:07:35     ANR2410E MOVE DATA: Unable to access volume U00067
access mode is set to "unavailable".

DO I need to change the access to something else to make this work?

If this is a copypool tape, then issue a move data volid. This will rebuild
the
tape
using the data from your primary pools onto a new volume.
