We have realized this with adsm, hacmp, aix, ssa mirrored disks and all
this stuff. In 'normal' operation, each box has one server and is
backing up all the data the day over to the other server.

If a hw failure occurs, the faulty server is moved to the other box
(with hacmp), and he took his disks with him (ssa). So I can restore
from the s-s pools and back up in another s-s pool.

It works.
