Hi Jerry,

One thing that I've thought about doing on occasion (but haven't actually
done anything about it) is to have an ADSM server scheduled job that runs on
each of the ADSM clients late in afternoon, before everyone goes home for
the day, that doesn't actually do a backup; maybe some sort of OS command.
The job would need to have a reasonably short startup window. Then, for any
job that has a status of 'Missed', there is some sort of problem. You then
have the opportunity to fix the problem before the backups are due to run.
