Hello,

We are trying to run some tests on the Lotus Notes Agent on an NT 4 box. The way
we are (trying to) doing this is to copy the mail directory /notes/data/mail
from the production machine using arcservce and restoring it on the test
machine. On day 1, we restore the arcserve files on the test machine and run
"dsmnotes incr": all databases are backed up. On day 2, we restore over the day
1 files and run "dsmnotes incr" again. This time, it states that no objects were
backed up and none deleted.

The question is, can anyone enlighten me as to what the agent is looking for
when it decides whether or not to back up a document in a database? I figure
that if the agent were setting something in Notes that is getting overwritten
when we overlay the files, then all of the documents would get backed up again.
In fact, the opposite is happening.

Anyone have any ideas?
