We were experiencing the same thing; we have a problem open with IBM. It would
appear that the server is compiled to only use 3 data segments (3 x 256 MB
memory). You can check to see how much memory you server process is using by
running 'ps aux | grep dsmserv' and looking at the SZ and RSS fields, which are
in kB. Since we never ran into this before, I'm suspecting that there may be a
memory leak.
