If you run DRM, be aware that deleting volhist removes the tape
record from the database - if the tape is in the vault, it's possible
to "lose" it (i.e. it will drop off "vault retrieve" status in your DRM
list).  What this means is that you need to keep your volhist
around at least long enough to notice that the tape is ready to
bring back.

There's no reason to panic, though - scratch checkin works just fine
with tapes that have been "lost".
