This question has to do with restore of Lotus Notes files.  We have Notes
This question has to do with restore of Lotus Notes files.  We have Notes
Servers in our Data Center, running in the normal unattended manner.  The
machines function only as Notes Servers; at Lotus' recommendation, these
machines do not run the Notes Clients - My administrator says that doing so
fails about 7 times out of 10, causing a reboot of the server.  We have a
separate Notes Server on our floor that we can use to manage the processes,
but it cannot map to the drives on the Data Center Servers.

We are wrestling with the ideas around remote restores for these servers.  We
are now running Version 2 of the MVS Server and the Clients, and so could use
the scheduled restore function.   However, I am unclear on how to run this
process.  It would appear that I would set up the schedule to do a selective
restore, naming the file(s) I want restored in the objects field.  I would
then have to start the scheduler on the server that we want to have the file
restored to.  Do I have the basic process correct here?   I it safe to assume
that this schedule should be ste for one time execution only.    But how can I
specifically start a scheduled session with a particular schedule - there is
no option on the scheduler command to specify the name of the schedule I want
to use.  I seem to be missing something here - I can think of many questions
on this.  Is there any documentation or examples that I have missed somewhere?
