I'm happy to see that adsmpipe will be shipped with one redbook on a floppy
but I have some questions/suggestions:

Will it be in source or binary form ?

Will it be available for every OS supporting the API ?

Would it be possible to store it somewhere in the ftp server at 
index.storsys.ibm.com ?

Just for justifying the access to adsmpipe, we need to archive files that might 
be
larger that 2 GB (in fact these files are cpio output created thru a named 
pipe).
That's why I do need the facility asap ..
