A SELECTIVE backup scheduled or using the command line will not
backup files which have been EXCLUDED. They are not backed up
because the next INCREMENTAL for that node would only expire
that file. A SELECTIVE backup on an EXCLUDED file should
produce a warning message in the dsmsched.log for that file.
It does not show up as a failure on the final status nor
should it cause the entire sched to have a status of MISSED.

It is best to look in the dsmsched.log or dsmerror.log on the
client to see why the backup EVENT shows a status of MISSED.
