Our anonymous FTP server is called index.ibmstorsys.com; look for one
of these files:
  /adsm/info/appcmvs.zip     encapsulated post-script
  /adsm/info/appcmvsl.zip    list3820

Both files are a document called : ADSM MVS APPC configuration guide.

Although the document discusses the microcode (a.k.a LIC) levels that you
need on the 3174, it doesn't explicitly tell you how to configure an
ADSM client in APPN environment.


Assuming you are using OS/2, the only changes to the documented configuration
would be:
   section 2.2.2 SNA Local Node Characteristics
   - chose 'End node to network node server' instead  of ' .. no network
   - node server.
   section 2.2.3 SNA Connections
   - Partner type of 'To network node'

I don't think you need to worry about defining the partner LU, since the
NN will take care of this ...

These should be the only differences in the document for an APPN connection.
