Currently, there is no way for the scheduler to pickup where it left off from
the previous backup. It would be a nice feature.

At the time when the scheduler is interrupted, it will give a status of the
number of files backed up (if any), and these files are not lost.

Schedule log file pruning will be available in future release, in the meantime,
I recommend you to do your own pruning.

Hope this helps...

Some of the PCs I installed ADSM windows client v1.2.0.3 take quite a long
time to backup their files. If a user stops the ADSM Scheduler during a
sheduled backup session, the next scheduled backup starts from the beginning
and not pickup from where it was interrupted. I am wondering if anybody
knows if there is a way to interrupt a backup session that has been started
by ADSM Scheduler and not loose all the files already backedup? Also is
there a way to get the schedule log (dsmsched.log) clear its previous log
instead of appending to it so it does not get to be very large? Any input
is highly appreciated.
