You could also use the NetView MLM component for trap forwarding. The
devices can be configured to send traps to the MLM, and then the MLM will
forward traps to multiple NetView servers. We've had up to four NetView
servers receiving traps from the same MLM server this way.

Subject: forwarding trap to another netview server

        Hello !

I need some help, i have a computer that can send snmp
trap to only one manager, but i need to receive traps
on 2 different netview servers (netview 4.2.1 on Aix
4.2) so i want to know how i can forward trap coming
from computer1 to my first netview server and then
from my first netview server to the second one.

I was thinking about a ruleset using:
        1) an event attribute node (with the origin field)
        2) an action node, in order to use a script that
receive the trap and send it to my second netview
        server using the snmptrap command.

The problem is that i can't see how to make such a
        script.

        Any help would bee gratefull.
