Simon,

Install 7.1.0.3 it fixes lot of VMware vstorage backup issues.

You have vshpere 5 or 4 ? Please specify as far as I know vsphere 5 cant be backed up unless you patch up to 7.1.0.3

All

NetBackup 7.0.1 Master and Backup Host 64bit win2k3 7.0.1

Installed the Media Software, has a DSU and Tape Storage.

Backup policy configured for SAN use and vmware type backups.

The backup starts, snapshot shows its being taken, but when it begins writing to tape or disk, eventually I get Status 10 (allocation failed).

Any ideas?
