Re: [Veritas-bu] Expired media not returning to SCRATCH & Vault

If a tape is vaulted, in the vault pool, then vault would not want that tape
going into the scratch pool when expiring. The point of vaulting a tape is to
put it offsite, and out of the normal tape rotation. If you use vault to
re-import those tapes, then they could be expired and brought back into
scratch.

I just did that (rich-clicked it: unsuspend) and then later ran
bpimage -cleanup but the tape is still on the vault volume pool (it won't go
to Scratch as I expected).
When I unsuspended it...it chnaged to "Full". The data-expiration column
shows: 10/26/1008. I can't query the catalog for tape contents so I guess
it really expired.
Isn't the "Data Expiration" column the expiration date for the last image (to
be expired) on tape? If so...why is it showing "Full" as its status? :(
Best regards,
Jorge
